Half-Day Thursday! We are on speed schedule today, so I’ll keep this short! We
will continue to work on our own on our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site. You will click
on Eastern High School, and click on Horner’s Technology Apps Sems 2 to go to
our site. This is the link that you will follow to your daily assignments after
you finish your Warm Ups. Your Student ID will be your login and your password
will be changeme when you first access Moodle.
Be reminded that you lose
participation points when you are caught on YouTube, Facebook, and similar
sites. You may listen to music on a site like www.grooveshark.com
that does NOT have videos. If music starts to interfere with your ability to
complete your work or stay on task, you will lose that privilege.

What is your favorite lunch at school? I heard on the news today that a child down south had their turkey and cheese sandwich with potato chips and a drink confiscated and she was forced to eat chicken nuggets from the school lunch menu because that meal offered a vegetable on the side. Does Eastern offer tasty, healthy meals, in your opinion? What do you think of what happened to this little girl?

On our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site, you should be going through modules 1.2.0 and 1.2.2. Follow the instructions and do the activities indicated. 1.2.0 and the mind map from 1.2.2 are due today. In order to submit your mind map from www.mindmeister.com, from the main menu on the website, click the button on the far right of your mind map and click export. You want it exported as a PDF document. Save it to your H: Drive and then go back to 1.2.2 in Moodle and upload the file. If you have any problems or questions, let me know. When you finish with your mind map, continue on to the next modules.

That seems idiotic to do. If anyone were ever to try to take away my pizza, I would probably bite their hand. I feel rather bad for the little girl... Chicken nuggets are no where near as filling as a turkey/cheese sandwich.
My favorite lunch at school is the chicken patty. What I think about the little girl down south was it was pretty stupid. They should not have taken that little girls lunch away and made her eat nasty school food.
my favorite food at lunch is pizza. i really think we do get offered healthy food at school. and i dont like what happened to that little girl down south.
