Happy Tuesday everyone! Today, we will continue to work on our own on our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site. You will click on Eastern High School, and click on Horner’s Technology Apps Sems 2 to go to our site. This is the link that you will follow to your daily assignments after you finish your Warm Ups. Your Student ID will be your login and your password will be changeme when you first access Moodle.

Be reminded that you lose participation points when you are caught on YouTube, Facebook, and similar sites. You may listen to music on a site like www.grooveshark.com that does NOT have videos. If music starts to interfere with your ability to complete your work or stay on task, you will lose that privilege.

Warm Up:

Go to www.typingtest.com and take the 2 minute Rules of Baseball timed test. Take the test 2 times and report your best score.

Assignment:

On our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site, you should have finished modules 1.2.0 and 1.2.2. Both activities were due last Thursday. In order to submit your mind map from www.mindmeister.com, from the main menu on the website, click the button on the far right of your mind map and click export. You want it exported as a PDF document. Save it to your H: Drive and then go back to 1.2.2 in Moodle and upload the file. If you have any problems or questions, let me know. When you have finished with your mind map, continue on to the next modules. Then, at 10:15 am, work on typing lessons on Mavis Beacon.
