Happy rainy Monday everyone! Does it feel weird that you’re third hour class is in the afternoon today? J We will continue to work on our own on our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site. You will click on Eastern High School, and click on Horner’s Technology Apps Sems 2 to go to our site. This is the link that you will follow to your daily assignments after you finish your Warm Ups. Your Student ID will be your login and your password will be changeme when you first access Moodle.

Be reminded that you lose participation points when you are caught on YouTube, Facebook, and similar sites. You may listen to music on a site like www.grooveshark.com that does NOT have videos. If music starts to interfere with your ability to complete your work or stay on task, you will lose that privilege.

Find the weather forecast online for this week? Is the rain going to stop? Will it be warm or cold? Tell me what website you got the information from!

Assignment:

On our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site, you should be working on 1.P.2 Old vs. New Artifact Portfolio assignment. When you have finished that, review all of the Lesson 2 and Lesson 3 modules so that you will be ready to attempt the Module 1 Test. The test is 30 multiple choice questions and you will be allowed to attempt it two times. To begin the test, you have to enter the password, “horner” (my last name, lower case, without the quotation marks). 1.P.2 Old vs. New Artifact and the Module 1 Test should be taken by this Friday, March 16^th. If you need a break when going through the modules or have completed the assignment and taken the test, you may continue working on lessons in Mavis Beacon to continue your typing lessons. We will do another typing Warm Up on Friday.
