Happy Monday class and welcome to the last marking period of the school year! I’m sorry I’m not here today, my 11 year old is sick today, so I’m blogging from home. This week, we will continue to work on our own on our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site. You will click on Eastern High School, and click on Horner’s Technology Apps Sems 2 to go to our site. This is the link that you will follow to your daily assignments after you finish your Warm Ups. Your Student ID will be your login and your password will be changeme when you first access Moodle.

Be reminded that you lose participation points when you are caught on YouTube, Facebook, and similar sites. You may listen to music on a site like www.grooveshark.com that does NOT have videos. If music starts to interfere with your ability to complete your work or stay on task, you will lose that privilege.

Warm Up:

We are surrounded by numbers…We have completed 27 of 36 weeks of school. In other words, we are ¾ of the way through the school year. My older brother turned 39 on Friday, March 23^rd. What are some numbers that you’ve dealt with recently? Be creative and give a few examples. J

Assignment:

On our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site, you should have completed 2.1.1 Keyboarding Skills and 2.1.2 Word Processing Tutorial by Friday, March 23^rd. Continue working on the Keyboarding modules this week in Moodle and be sure to check out some of the different typing websites listed in Moodle. This is new! Start the Marking Period strong and make me proud!
