March 27

Good morning class, it's good to be here! This week, we will continue to work on our own on our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site. You will click on Eastern High School, and click on Horner’s Technology Apps Sems 2 to go to our site. This is the link that you will follow to your daily assignments after you finish your Warm Ups. Your Student ID will be your login and your password will be changeme when you first access Moodle.

Be reminded that you lose participation points when you are caught on YouTube, Facebook, and similar sites. You may listen to music on a site like www.grooveshark.com that does NOT have videos. If music starts to interfere with your ability to complete your work or stay on task, you will lose that privilege.

Warm Up:

Read the following article on Trayvon Martin and for your comment today, tell me your thoughts regarding his death a month ago. Please be thoughtful and respectful in your comments.

Assignment:

On our Computer Apps Semester 2 moodle site, you should have completed 2.1.1 Keyboarding Skills and 2.1.2 Word Processing Tutorial by Friday, March 23rd. Continue working on the Keyboarding modules this week in Moodle and be sure to check out some of the different typing websites listed in Moodle. This is new! Start the Marking Period strong and make me proud!

i think that it was wrong for him to do that. he basically did it cuz he was black even though zimmerman said that he looked like hew as a threat how are you going to be a threat with skittles and tea? and i bet if a white boy had on the same thing and bought the same stuff and a black guy or zimmerman was to shoot him the person wouldve been locked up in like 2.2 seconds. but thats just how america is! wrong as i dont know what.
